Johannesburg Art Fair - South African Art News
ArtLogic, an arts event company, received funding from First National Bank of South Africa to organize the Johannesburg Art Fair. The art fair will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre from March 13 to March 18 in 2009.
One of the goals of the Johannesburg Art Fair will be to introduce a wider range of people to South African art buying. The concept is similar to the famed Basel art fair in Switzerland but will take place on a much smaller scale.
The Johannesburg Art Fair will invite local and international galleries to participate as well as interested artists.
