Corinna de Jong was born in 1961 in Invercargill, New-Zealand and grew up in Killarny, Johannesburg, South Africa after which she returned to her roots in Holland, where she has an art studio. She mainly creates bronze sculpture, although she began her career in stone, making sculptures of Marl, Onyx and Granite.
In more than 16 years time she has made and sold many sculptures, worked on assignment for a total of 8 sculptures for the Government. Of course there were also private and personal pieces made.
