Marion Bartko-McCabe - South African Artist Listed on Arcy Art Original Oil Paintings Artist Directory

Marion is a largely self-taught artist, who works in a variety of media.  She briefly studied with UNISA, and in workshops with Judith Mason and other South African artists. Previous exhibitions include: "Wall to Wall Walls" at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town (February 2006) and "Intuitive Thought" at the Stewart Gallery in Parkhurst Johannesburg (July 2004). The former dealt with the tendency of people to surround themselves with walls both mental and physical, and the latter the quest to attain balance, stability and harmony at the same time as stretching out to overcome limitations and prejudice.
