Vanessa has had a passion for art from a very young age. Taking art as a subject at school and attending classes at Saxonworld, Johannesburg - Later obtaining a diploma (3 years) at Paris School of Art.
Her passion for Wildlife was ehanced when she worked in the Kruger Park for a number of years. Inspired by the raw beauty of the animal kingdom created not by the hand of man, it has become her life's ambition to portray this beauty, compelled to capture the essence of the wilderness & nature in every painting. Her love for the outdoors, South Africa and extensive travels, enhances and enriches her work.
She has achieved popularity and success with her works in the Lowveld where she has lived and worked for the last 14 years but based in Hoedspruit for the last 12 years. Her work is also well known nationally and she has had considerable success internationally.
Her first exhibition was held at Zoo Lake in Johannesburg, where she had a sell out of all her works.
