elaine started out in the 80's making jewelery, then fell in love with painting in the 90's. Painting full time since 2004.Her work are in public and corporate collections all over the world, she has also illustrated a book of poems by Dr.F. Bruere
she is mainly self-taught.
Painting a picture is like giving birth to a soul mate. Whatever I paint is personal and every painting is a learning process.
Energy,sensitivity,emotion,colour,composition,texture and brush strokes all play a part, sometimes it amuses and sometimes it amazes, but always satisfies.
