This is a series of oil paintings inspired by flowers. I have always loved flowers and I am especially interested in painting close up studies of the flowers bringing out facets of the flowers that people may not usually pick up. The main characteristics of my oil paintings of flowers are my use of colour and the way I try and bring forth the sensuous forms of the flowers with the use of directional brush strokes.
