ART EXHIBITIONS IN WESTERN CAPE, SOUTH AFRICA

CONTINUUM

Venue: The Cape Gallery, 60 CHURCH STREET CAPE TOWN 8001,
TEL: +27 21 4235309, FAX: +27 21 424906
Celebrating The Winter Solstice is an established tradition in The Cape Gallery.  It is a time when Nature slows and light and warmth retreat and quicken again as the earth tilts toward the restorative sun. It can be a time of gestation, a time of dreams and revision, a time to honour the past and be present to the possibilities of the future. The annual exhibition typically consists of a group of artists asked to consider various relevant themes in visual culture, translating this into their own medium and style of work.
